villaModerno is located in the heart of downtown playa del carmen. with 5th avenue just a block away, you have nearly immediate access to playa del carmen's best shopping, dining, and lively scene, but you are far enough away to maintain the serenity of your surroundings. villaModerno's location on 12th street also puts you along the 12th street nightlife strip, with hotel deseo's swanky lounge, karta bar's hooka crowd, om's smooth grooves, blue parrot's beachside party, and la santanera's dancing until the wee hours of the morning.


getting here
from the cancun airport, follow the signs for the federal highway #307 and take the highway south towards playa del carmen. when entering the playa del carmen area, take a left onto constituyentes avenue (avenida constituyentes). take a right on 15th avenue (avenida 15) and follow 15th for 3 blocks. Take a left onto 12th street (calle 12), villaModerno's complex sits at the corner of 15th and 12th.

additionally, there is a bus that travels directly from the cancun airport to the main bus terminal in playa del carmen. upon exiting from the international terminal, proceed to the right and walk along the entire front of the airport building. after reaching the end of the aiport building, there will be some buses lined up along the curb that extends away from the sidewalk that runs along the airport. look for a bus with "playa del carmen" in the front window, the fare is approximately $8 USD and the ride takes about 45 minutes.
