| "Our stay at Villa Moderno was perfect. As soon as we arrived we knew we would have a wonderful stay. The location is unprecedented. We commented daily on how lucky we were to be so close to 5th, the beach, and our favorite nightclub La Santanera. You are in the middle of all the action yet when you close the gate to the condo complex everything is tranquil and peaceful. The condo itself is clean and comfortable. Having the condo on the ground floor next to the pool was convienent in the day for sunbathing but also ideal for relaxing at dusk. I am already trying to plan my next trip to Playa and will definetly stay at Villa Moderno again. Thanks." |

| "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Moderno. The condo was comfortable, clean and nicely appointed. It was always a pleasure returning to the condo after the beach, a late dinner, or a long day sight-seeing (we had a car rental and took advantage of the condo's parking space). We enjoyed the condo so much we even decided to relax one night and stayed in with some takeout food and a bottle of wine. Will definitely be back!" |

| "Villa Moderno exceeded all of my expectations: located in the swankiest stretch of Playa Del Carmen, the condo provided the perfect jump-off point for all the trendiest clubs, bars, restaurants, and shops. Not to mention, a quick walk to the beach. The condo was equipped with everything you'd expect for a perfect vacation: beach towels, a hammock, a full size refrigerator and kitchen, purefied water, and soft sheets. But Villa Moderno surprises with things you wouldn't expect: an iPod hookup to the stereo, an US-based phone for unlimited, free out and in calls to US numbers, a beautiful incandescent pool, and a private outdoor bath. Not only would I recommend Villa Moderno to all my friends, but I am already plotting my next trip back to Playa. Thank you!" |

| "A very chic Miami-style condo in an IDEAL area of Playa. The owners went out of their way to decorate everything in a similar fashion to trendy Hotel Deseo. More importantly, the owners went out of their way to make sure the reservation process was efficient. Not only did they call me a few times to answer my questions, but I received a detailed update on new restaurants, bars and activities in the area. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!" |

We had originally been planning to divide our time in Playa between Hotel Basico & Deseo but after discovering the website for Villa Moderno, we decided to take a chance and ended up being so pleased with our choice. Not only did we get the added benefit of much more space and a serene,quiet environment- but we still had the design elements that we enjoy being surrounded with when we travel (and they were beautifully executed I might add!) The location is perfect and what a treat to have the bonus of heading to our next destination in Mexico with a completely clean wardrobe thanks to the efficient washer/dryer! We did have a 4 hour power outage that affected the Yucatan during our stay, but thanks to the flashlight and many candles you thoughtfully provided it only added a fun touch to our holiday.I would also like to mention that the greeting/farewell from Sharon and Michael was seamless and found their service/availability to be a wonderful attribute that contributed to our very pleasurable stay. We look forward to a return visit in the future.Thanks so much!" |

Close to the beach and the infamous 5th Avenue with all its activity, dining and shopping, its a quiet refuge at the end of the day. The pool and common areas are shady, calm and relaxing, the windows face the inner courtyard and its peacefulness and the jacuzzi is very private. We really enjoyed the convenience of the washer/dryer and kitchen and used them daily. We highly recommend Villa Moderno for your next trip to Playa del Carmen...you won't be disappointed!" |

We found it to be well appointed, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. This was our third trip to Playa, and we plan on coming back next year. We'll include a stay at Villa Moderno again as well. We arrived in Playa on the 27th, the day the check-in info was emailed to me, so the check-in didn't go as smooth on 3/3 as it could have." |

We loved the accommodations, with such comfortable beds (especially important after many days and nights of fun), personal spa, well decked out kitchen, and wonderful pool! We can't emphasize enough about the location of this condo...within a short walking distance to the famous 5th ave. where all the action is and the wonderful beaches of the Caribbean. There are many off the beaten track places to explore from the condo also! So thank you and the wonderful management for helping make this condo a perfect place to visit! " |
